Meet some of our friends

  • Charlie

Charlie is the sweetest 11 year old Burnedoodle. We have braced both rear legs for CCL injuries. Charlie is a cancer survivor and was not the best candidate for surgery. She loves going on walks and playing with her new puppy sibling.

  • Mocha

Mocha has experienced both rear leg CCL injuries. She was not a good candidate for surgery due to high anxiety and high energy. Owners were worried they would not be able to keep her down and calm after surgery to recover. She loves to swim in her backyard pool with her braces.

  • Opie

14 years ago Opie graced this world with his presence and has been a great companion to his parents. Due mostly to age related risks, Opie was not a candidate for TPLO. We made and fit him with a custom stifle brace and he has been enjoying his walks and continued recovery.

  • Luther

Luther is a working, show dog that loves to run and play. He fell from a high wall and suffered a hyperextension injury to his carpal joint. The owner wanted to try conservative management of the injury rather than surgical intervention. After months of rehab, a custom carpal brace, and lots of other holistic treatments, he is back to his old self.

  • Brutus

Brutus loves floating the river and enjoying the Texas summer with his family and his prosthetic we designed for him. He lost his leg below the hock in a crush injury accident. He is able to be himself again with his new leg.

  • Loretta

Loretta the Llama was born with a twisted and deformed leg. Her mother rejected her and an animal rescue took her in. After the vet decided an amputation would be best, we designed her a prosthetic leg that allowed her to have a fairly normal life. She wore the prosthetic for close to 2 years before unfortunately passing away due to pneumonia. We are so glad we were a part of her journey.

  • Luck

Go Luck Go! Luck was injured at sometime in his life before he came to his current owner. His arm was permanently bent and could not reach the ground. We built him a device to reach the ground and run!

  • Frida

Frida had an unstable hock joint due to an injury. She was not a surgical candidate due to her age and medical history. Multiple splints were tried to stabilize the luxating joint but they unfortunately caused sores and were unsuccessful. We made her a custom hock brace and she ran down the hall with it within 5 minutes!

  • Maverick

We saw Maverick as a kitten. His paw got hung up on a fence and caused nerve damage which resulted in him inverting and walking on the top of his paw (knuckling). We made him a brace that corrected and protected his paw. He recovered slowly as he grew and now walks normal without a brace.

  • Vino

Vino had a stubborn fracture that would not heal after many splints and other procedures. We made him a custom carpal fracture brace and we got his fractured healed in 6 weeks.

  • Cocoa

Cocoa was born with a deformed forelimb that made walking on it difficult. The paw was basically not connected at the carpal joint. The owners did not want to go the surgical route so we made him an ortho-prosthesis which combines elements of both an orthotic and prosthetic device. He is now able to use his limb more normally. His gait improvement helps reduce stress on his sound limb and spine.

  • Lady

Lady was born with a congenital birth defect of her rear paw. She could get around but since it was shorter and not fully developed she would tire quickly and occasionally get sores. The owner was also concerned about hip and spine issues down the road. We made her a prosthetic and she now runs like the wind!

  • Jet

Jet’s paw was likely chewed off at birth. He would tire quickly and was left behind by his siblings. We designed him a hock prosthetic that gave him more stability and stamina. He is now keeping up with his brothers and sisters on the family ranch!

  • Earl

Earl was taken in by a local rescue and was found on the streets with a badly injured front paw. The injury resulted in him ultimately needing an amputation. We made him a prosthetic so he could recover and find a new home.

  • Zander

Zander lost his right leg at the shoulder due to an auto accident incident. We made him a prosthetic with a big wheel so he could get around on his family farm. Zander is in doggie heaven now but he never gave up and always made us smile.

  • Bonnie

Bonnie had a crush injury to her rear paw that could not be salvaged. The owner’s considered euthanasia due to her likely loss of mobility and freedom. They reached out to us and we were able to get her running again and give her a new lease on life.

  • Pancho

Pancho is a miniature donkey that was born with a deformed hoof/fetlock joint. He would roll it sideways and had trouble with pressure sores and abrasions. We made him a protective and positional brace. The owners were able to get his wounds healed and protect his leg on the farm and keep him moving.

  • Lt. Dan

Lt. Dan is a two and a half legged dog. He was rescued after a traumatic incident with a train. His rear left leg is amputated at the hip and his rear right is amputated above the paw. Before we got him his prosthetic he was barely able to walk and was constantly getting sores. He now relies on his device and his owner says it has been life changing for him.
