We often incorporate CAD design and 3D printing to achieve precise fit, alignment, and repeatability when appropriate, while in other situations we rely on traditional thermoplastic techniques that allow for hands-on shaping and real-time adjustments. When additional strength and durability are needed, we integrate carbon fiber components into our hock and carpal braces and prosthetics to provide maximum support without unnecessary weight. Stifle/Knee $950
Our custom stifle braces are designed to provide external support and stability to the knee, helping manage conditions such as CCL injuries by limiting excessive motion and reducing strain on the joint. They can be used as part of a conservative management approach to support healing and improve function, or as a post-operative aid following TPLO surgery to help protect the repair, support controlled movement, and promote a confident return to activity. Ortho-Prosthesis $1750
An ortho-prosthesis is a custom device designed for pets whose limb is present but unable to properly contact the ground due to deformity, shortening, or contracture. Combining the principles of both a brace and a prosthetic, it supports and aligns the existing limb while extending it to restore functional weight-bearing. Travel Fees
Animalimb provides mobile orthotic and prosthetic care, with travel fees calculated by round-trip mileage from Georgetown, Texas. Shipping is always paid for by us and free to you if you would prefer to ship your device to us for adjustment rather than pay a travel fee.
New Device Appointments
New device fittings have no base travel fee. The first 50 miles round trip are included, with additional mileage charged at $0.65 per mile.

Adjustment Appointments
Adjustment visits include a $50 travel fee, which covers the first 50 miles round trip. Mileage beyond 50 miles is charged at $0.95 per mile.
